About Marriage Mavericks
We run intensive online programs that help students on the brink of divorce heal their marriages.
Role Overview
We’re hiring a Student Success Coach (starting at ~25 hours/week with a clear path to full-time) to keep students supported, organized, and progressing through our programs. This is a hybrid role: part admin, part low-level mindset and accountability support. Your job is to make sure no student ever feels lost and to free our Head Coach to stay in her highest-leverage work.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Program Admin / Operations
- Own new student onboarding: welcome messages, community access, program access, and providing low-level technical help to students.
- Manage community posts and comments to enforce our culture of ownership and progress.
- Keep our student trackers up to date: who’s active, at risk, or unengaged.
- Manage behind-the-scenes logistics for our live Q&A / support calls.
- Capture student wins.
- Edit and post recordings of Q&A calls.
Student Success / Support
- Run regular check-ins (DM/email) to keep students engaged and accountable.
- Answer common questions in the community using our program frameworks and scripts.
- Handle simple support tickets: where to find resources, how to use scripts, basic mindset support.
- Book our students for their support calls.
- Triage higher-stakes situations to the Head Coach with clear summaries.
- Celebrate student wins publicly and help them see their progress.
Outcomes You Own
- 95% of new students are fully onboarded within 1 business day.
- 80% of new students reach activation in their first 7 days (intake done, first call completed, intro posted).
- 80% of enrolled students are “active” each week (session attended, assignment completed, or community engagement).
- 95% of student tickets and community questions are answered or escalated within 1 business day.
- Students feel supported and guided through the program.
Who You Are
- Emotionally steady: You can stay grounded when students are in crisis about their marriage.
- Organized: You like checklists, tracking, and closing loops.
- Strong communicator: Warm, clear written and spoken English.
- Coachable: You follow playbooks first, then help improve them.
- Caring: You genuinely care about families, relationships, and personal growth.
Requirements
- Reliable internet and a private environment for calls.
- Experience in education, coaching, counseling, student success, customer success, or a similar support role.
- Comfortable with online tools (GHL, Slack, Zoom, Asana, community platforms, Google Suite, etc.).
- Technically proficient: You will support our Head Coach and students with basic technical issues.
Compensation, Growth & Logistics
- We’re starting at ~25 hours/week at $2,500 monthly base + up to $500 in performance bonus. As the role grows toward full‑time and you consistently hit your numbers, we’ll scale hours and comp proportionally. The full‑time target for this seat is $4,000 base + up to $1,000 bonus.
- Fully remote.
- Training provided on our systems and program frameworks.
- Growth path into more student-facing responsibility as you demonstrate proficiency.
Growth Path
Our priority is finding someone who loves supporting students and keeping our programs organized. If you consistently excel in the Student Success Coach role (meeting your metrics and demonstrating strong emotional steadiness and coaching aptitude), there may be opportunities over time to be trained into more advanced coach-level responsibilities within our programs as the business grows, with compensation growing accordingly. This depends on performance and company needs and is not guaranteed.
